EdKnowledge for Tutoring

EdKnowledge for Tutoring is an initiative of the National Student Support Accelerator project within the Systems Change to Advance Learning & Equity (SCALE) Initiative at Stanford University. The goal of the SCALE Initiative is to transform the landscape of educational opportunity by leveraging knowledge and insights for education decision making across contexts. SCALE aims to identify, support, and scale promising approaches across diverse issues in K-12 education, engaging decision-makers in education with solutions to integrate research, policy, and practice effecting positive change for learners broadly.

SCALE collaborates with scholars across traditional disciplinary lines on fast-paced research to identify promising practices and to iterate on programs and approaches with strong potential to improve educational outcomes for students. Our current focus of work sits at the intersection of personalized learning for students, relationships, and engagement. SCALE will convene stakeholders across diverse contexts, generate high-impact tools and resources, and produce knowledge, all with the specific goal in mind to effect systems and policy change for educational good.
